Experienced and highly qualified in the field of Ayurvedic medicine, she has been practicing Ayurveda exclusively for 10 years in India and Europe.
Having trained at Govt. Ayurveda Medical College Trivandrum, Kerala in India, and with further post- graduation in healthcare management from University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK, she has acquired excellent clinical and management skills in the field of healthcare which empowers her vision of imparting good health practices and education to the masses. She also aims towards contributing to genuine research activities in the field of Ayurvedic medicine.
Previously, she has worked at Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Ayurvedic hospital and research centre in Delhi, India.
Having treated numerous clients in India and abroad, she has a good understanding of different cultures and ways of living including diet variations. She has gathered expertise in treating a wide range of health disorders affecting musculoskeletal diseases including osteoarthritis, spondylitis, tendonitis, muscle/ligament sprains, repetitive stress injuries, back pain, sciatica, degenerative/herniated disc disease; Neurological diseases including stroke induced hemiplegia, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease; Autoimmune disorders including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, eczema; Chronic disorders including diabetes, hypertension, and Hypercholesterolemia.
She believes and works towards building and supporting the body's natural defence mechanism through diet and lifestyle corrections along with Ayurvedic herbal/therapeutic management and yoga, and advocates preventive measures for maintaining good health. This helps to achieve optimum immune system to ward off/ or develop resistance towards many health disorders and infectious diseases to a certain extent.
As per Ayurveda, a Vaidya (one who practices Ayurvedic medical system) treats the body, mind and soul of an individual aiming at the root cause of the problem to achieve holistic results. This approach is considered wholesome and beneficial with much reduced chances of serious side effects. Patience, empathy and devoting time to each client, and understanding their personalized needs are precedent in her consultations.
