About me

Kelly holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Richmond and a Masters of Science in Nutrition & Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health with a concentration in Human Clinical Nutrition. In addition, Kelly is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietician Nutritionist (LDN). She provides both one-on-one nutritional counseling and group workshops. Kelly promotes a body-positive approach to encourage not only physical healing but improving one’s relationship with food. She provides counseling that focuses on identifying the root causes and treating the whole person. Kelly’s method will engage clients to combine nutrition, sleep, stress management and joyful movement to reach their optimal state of health.

I believe in a body-positive approach to setting nutrition goals. My goal is to help you be your best self. Whether your challenges are mental health, inflammation, autoimmune, or digestive illness, we will work together to help you find the balance that makes you feel well. Using the principles of Intuitive Eating and mindful eating, my goal is to help you make peace with food and find contentment with yourself in the process.
I will take the time to listen and thoroughly understand your situation because you are the expert in YOU! Your body and your needs will be heard and respected and your interventions will be tailored to your unique needs. I believe that HOW you eat is just as important as WHAT you eat so our work will include developing a healthy relationship with food.
There is no shortage of diet 'advice' on the market; it can be hard to know what's real and what's not! I help my clients cut through 'diet culture' and come to terms with their own individual needs. We will define your unique version of wellness and help you learn to trust your body again.
