About me
I am a qualified and experienced Acupuncturist with developing expertise in fertility, gestational and geriatric acupuncture as well as enabling patients to cope with bereavement and loss. I trained and qualified in acupuncture at the renowned Northern College of Acupuncture in York, graduating in 2009. I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council. I am also an experienced teacher/ lecturer with specialisms in food and nutrition, clinical supervision and counseling and psychotherapy having worked in private, public and voluntary sectors. I have expertise and skills in counseling having spent nearly 15 years' within the profession so I have the ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships with my patients. I developed an interest in acupuncture after having treatment myself for persistent migraines and regard myself to be migraine free. I have a passion for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and believe that with my nutrition, counseling and teaching backgrounds I can help, enable, empower and support individuals to the best of my abilities.
