About me
Ginette completed her four year Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is an Illinois licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Board Certified Chinese Herbalist. Ginette has hundreds of additional training hours in Infertility, Chinese herbal medicine, distal needling and Balance Method acupuncture. She is certified in advanced cupping methods. Ginette is also a board certified Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), which requires extensive training and expertise to pass the ABORM national board examination, as well as a continued commitment to the ever evolving research and protocols involved in this field. The field of health has been a passion of Ginette's, since the age of 16, when she was chronically sick. After visiting numerous specialists, which provided her with little insight, it became her mission to learn how to heal . The journey ahead lead her to a variety of teachers and treatments. Acupuncture is one treatment that particularly had a positive impact on her health and expanded her horizon for the potential of healing. Ginette worked on the Women's Intervention Nutrition Study (WINS), a breast cancer research study at the Kellogg Cancer Center at Evanston Hospital, as a research consultant. During this time, she also completed massage school with an additional year of structural therapy training, became a National Strength and Conditioning Association certified Personal Trainer, and completed an intensive two year western herbal program with the intention of learning about health from a variety of perspectives. Eventually, Ginette went on to find her main love and enrolled in a masters program for Traditional Chinese Medicine which opened her eyes to healing in ways that she thought was previously not possible. Previously, Ginette ran a successful Denver based acupuncture clinic where she treated a wide variety of issues with a focus on Infertility acupuncture. She has had the great privilege of supporting couples and individuals through various types of assisted reproductive technology (ART) such as IVF and IUI, as well as those trying to conceive naturally, in her own clinic as well as other local Infertility acupuncture clinics. Ginette has also provided acupuncture on embryo transfer day at several of the local Infertility clinics and hospitals in Denver.
